Tasks of the Regional Transport Conferences
The 171 municipalities of Zurich Canton are organised into 12 Regional Transport Conferences (RVCs). The RVC meetings coordinate matters of concern to the municipalities represented in respect of all public transport issues, and in particular those relating to the planning of the services offered. In the timetabling process, the RVCs play an important part as regards providing information and handling the communication of planned timetable changes. The RVCs usually convene twice a year.
