Tasks of Cantonal Transport Board
Within the bounds of the credit line approved by the Cantonal Council, the Cantonal Transport
Board is responsible for ensuring coordinated, commercially viable and readily usable transport
services and a uniform pricing structure. It is responsible for managing the Zurich Transport
Network’s business matters and budget. The Cantonal Transport Board manages all ZVV business that
is not explicitly reserved for the Cantonal Council or its departments.
