ZVV NIGHT SUPPLEMENT
The ZVV nighttime network allows you to get around by train and bus in the early hours of Friday/Saturday and Saturday/Sunday.
If you wish to use the ZVV’s nighttime network you need two tickets:
TICKET 1: a ticket valid for the ZVV network (ZVV ticket, General Abonnement, etc.) from your place of departure to your destination. The 9 o’clock pass is valid until the nighttime network closes at 5 a.m.
TICKET 2: a night supplement for CHF 5. You may buy one-off supplements (automatic ticket machine: *162, at sales offices or by SMS) or multiple supplements for CHF 27 (6 supplements available at sales office or at the Ticketshop (German). Half-Fare travelcards and other discount ticket cannot be used when paying the supplement.
In addition to the ZVV fare network, the night supplement is valid on the following additional nighttime networks: A-Welle, FlexTax, OSTWIND, Zug fare network, Schwyz fare network, Z-Pass as well as the Zurich–Lucerne and Schaffhausen–Singen night trains.
