Travelling on public transport is challenging for deaf passengers and the hard of hearing. Passenger information displayed in vehicles and at public transport stops enables them to travel more easily.

Audio amplifier at the ticket counter

Many station ticket counters are equipped with induction loop amplifiers for travellers with hearing disabilities. You will find further details at: www.sbb.ch/en/handicap.

Via the SBB Ticket Shop you can purchase and directly print out Z-Pass tickets conveniently at home. Besides this you can order the tickets by telephone:

With the SBB app you can load your Z-Pass ticket direct to your mobile phone. You can of course continue to purchase your ticket at the ticket counter, at points of sale or from the driver on regional buses.

Limitations or prohibitions on bicycles

Please note that some transport companies limit the numbers of bicycles carried at peak traffic hours (6–8 a.m. and 4–7 p.m.) for space reasons. On certain routes there is either no transportation of bicycles or reservation is obligatory.
