Infrastructure

So that the 4th phase of expansion can be rolled out, various track facilities and stations will have to be expanded. In addition, signalling equipment needs adjusting so that the trains can run at shorter intervals.

These planned infrastructure expansions require the Zurich – Winterthur and Bülach – Schaffhausen high-speed train expansions and the construction of the cross-city link and the Future Development of Railway Infrastructure (FDRI) projects in the ZVV region.
