Züri Fäscht 7–9 July 2023
Air shows and firework displays delight the skies, bumper cars and rollercoasters guarantee action and free open-air concerts create that festival atmosphere. All this is to be enjoyed at the Züri Fäscht, when Zurich city centre turns into the largest festival venue in Switzerland.
The next Züri Fäscht will take place from the evening of Friday, 1 July to the evening of Sunday, 3 July 2022. Zurich’s city centre will become a huge festival space. Both nights of the festival will see firework displays to light up the skies above Zurich. There will be many festival eateries to satisfy all tastes – from traditional raclette and South African braai through to vegan curry.
In order to make sure that the largest folk festival in Switzerland goes off without a hitch, parts of the city centre are closed off as early as Friday morning. It’s easy to get to the Züri Fäscht by taking the S-Bahn train to Zurich main station, Enge, Wollishofen, Stadelhofen or Tiefenbrunnen. The S-Bahn, tram and bus network will operate round the clock during the festival.
Stadelhofen station can get particularly crowded after the fireworks. For those who want to take it easy and enjoy the Züri Fäscht for a little longer, the S-Bahn offers plenty of seats to get you home.
