S-Bahn
You can get into most trains of the Zurich S-Bahn without steps. Here you can learn more about the accessibility of the S-Bahn and the stations.
Planning
The easiest way to plan your trip is to use the ZVV online timetable or the ZVV app. The connection query can be restricted to connections barrier-free connections. You can also extend the transfer times. You can find more about these functions here.
Stations
Many stations have already been extended without steps. In the network map (PDF, 529 KB) you will find an overview of the stations in the ZVV that are suitable for disabled persons and persons in wheelchairs.
Outpost stations
At some outpost stations in the ZVV territory staff will assist passengers in wheelchairs upon advance reservation. With the support of the mobile lift you can access high-floor trains and also long-distance trains. The outpost stations are marked on the low-floor network plan (PDF, 529 KB) of the S-Bahn.
The support staff for the mobile lift is available daily from 7am to 11pm (exceptions upon consultation). Early reservation at the SBB Call Center Handicap is required: Tel. 0800 007 102. More information, also concerning the outpost stations, can be accessed at: www.sbb.ch/handicap .
