Do I need to buy a ticket for my grandchildren, too?

Children up to 5.99 years old travel free and do not need a ticket. Children aged 6 to 15.99 travel at reduced rates.

With the Junior travelcard or the Children’s Co-travelcard, children aged 6 to 15.99 travel free for a year when accompanied by a parent or other designated person. The parents and travel companions must have valid tickets. The Junior travelcard and the Children’s Co-travelcard are valid for all ZVV tickets.

Children's Co-travelcards can be obtained at the ZVV sales offices for CHF 30 per child and accompanying person.
